and jhhawkins1987 the t-rex from jp3was a sub adult. for two reasons. 1- it was 14 feet tall. the rexes from tlw were 17ft tall and 18ft tall. and big red (the rex from jp1) was 21 feet tall. 2- look at HIS coloreing. remember the male from tlw. well he had the same basic coloreing but darker. like how tiger sharks start out brighter then adults. Does that answer your question? PS: in jp3 they made it a sub adult to make spiny look bigger in compairosin

Indiana Jones is right about the sub-adult Rex. Cryolophosaurus would not be a bad choice, but I don't know if it's the right choice.

Ok Indiana Jones, I didn't remember too well. Of course, that wouldn't add more than 0.5-1 year? Rexy has still many years to live.

Oh, and forgot bout Cryolophosaurus. I don't think it is going to appear in the film. It would be cool, but there are many other cooler choice. Like Troodon. It was said and re-said, yes. But I do still think at it. It would also appear for continuity factors, as it already made an appearance in JP:TG.

The reson i think cryo will be in jw is because he has a gimmick, the big crest on his head, think about it jp is OBSESED with dinosaurs haveing gimmicks

I know Indiana. Hmmm... being the biggest doesn't mean neccessarly Rexy/Big Red is also the oldest! Every dinosaur (like every creature) is different. Maybe Rexy is just a freaking giant for her species on Isla Nublar and Sorna. Let's also take the fact that genethics and cloning have an important spot here. ;)

Well Steve she isnt a GIANT because tyrannosaurus rex can get up to about 20 feet tall and 49 feet long. for an adult rex Big Red would be full grown.

I mean giant by Jurassic Park standards. I agree with your estimation though.

They used the same mechanical trex in the last two films, just added a second for TLW U retards lol

it even says on the extras of the dvd's

so yh it is still a load of bollox. On the scale graph pictures he looks smaller in length and mainly height due to the sail on spino but in the actual battle in the movie they looked same size.

Infact! If u wanna get really technical like u all seem to be doin, both spino and rex were under sized. Rex technically shoulda been the length of th

JP3 spino n spino prob 50ft instead of 45

jhawkins i dont think they used the same t-rex for all the movies. because they were all differant sizes again the rex from jp 1 was 21 feet tall and the rex from jp 3 was 14 feet tall thats a big height differance. and they all are differantly painted you can make the argumant that they just repainted it. i own all the jp discs and it doesnt have anything about it being the same. neither does the web. you can find production photos of the jp3 rex though on G images

jhawkins the robots were mesured the spinosaurus robot used in that film was 19 feet tall. spinosaurus agepticus (sorry for bad spelling) could get up to be 25 feet tall and 52 feet long. as a full groan tyrannosaurus could get 20 feet tall and 49 feet long. the dinosaurs from jp3 werent under sized. if you have been interacting with this topic you would have seen previosly stated that the rex from jp 3 was a sub adult. i am not affraid to admit that the rex lost to spinny in jp3 the fact he is young is just a fact

19 feet at the sail indiana

i dont think u know an awfull lot about ya scaling pal, the largest tyrannosaur ever excavated SUE which our friend here rexy is based on. U may wanna check this out http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sue_%28Tyrannosaurus%29

And it isnt a fact. There is no fact . does it say juvenile on this scale chart : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=159880725

no !

i am not even bothered really i have my views that the second rex bit spino round the neck should caused major damage and possibly give rex the advantage to win , im just waitin for a reply now sayin it was juvenile bite force. ha

MemberCompsognathusDec-01-2013 6:09 PM
the spinosurus from jp3 was 16 feet to the head and 19 feet to the sail i know that already. i said 19because that was the highest part of its body

At the very least, it was smaller than any of the other JP Tyrannosaurus's. I do think it was a sub adult personally, but that's just me (and half the other guys on this forum).
